"Anybody who puts Stephanie Meyer over Anne Rice must be forgetting that Interview with a vampire started it all. An Amazing, dark, intricate, brooding story filled with history and incredible characterization. It's true that Anne Rice can be a little long winded and self indulgent, but not here. I wish she still wrote this way, and unfortunately all the angsty teens read twilight now for there vampire fix and don't even realize that much much better books exist."
