"Loved experiencing Frank McCourt's tumultuous and resilient journey. I cried. I laughed. I gasped. I cheered. He can take a heavy, sad experience and find hope and light. His humor in those dark times is inspiring and relatable. I had the incredible opportunity to hear him bring his own words to life—a memory I will always treasure.
As someone who loves the beauty of words, my favorite quote is
"I don’t know what it means and I don’t care because it’s Shakespeare and it’s like having jewels in my mouth when I say the words.""

Tuesdays with Morrie: An Ol...

"Mitch Albom has beautifully written about taboos that most of us avoid: the fear of aging, dependency, loneliness, and facing death. Through Morrie, we get a raw look at what it means to rely completely on others. The book highlights our deep need for love, connection, patience, and physical touch. I loved how Mitch realizes that Morrie enjoys and feels comforted by the simplest things—like the fluff of his pillow or someone holding his hand. This is an invaluable book for everyone, but especially for caretakers. I was incredibly grateful to have read it when I sat at the bedside of those I dearly loved. It reminds us that when everything else is stripped away, love and presence are all that matter.

"Death ends a life, not a relationship. All the love you created is still there. All the memories are still there. You live on—in the hearts of everyone you have touched."
