"Beautifully written while still remaining understandable with a stong message. It makes you think, get caught up in the entertainment of the games like a capitol citizen in one moment, then feel bad about it in the next, knowing what the characters are going through. Definitivley a good (and important) read for both younger and older readers!"

"Again, a book I think everyone should have read. Especially the "grown ups"."

"I understand why this might not be higher up on the list for many due to its sometimes complicated writing. However I absolutely loved this book. It's a hard read, but so worth it. Yozo is a incredibly flawed individual, but still has his own, almost fun moments. The book is incredibly realistic given its nature (it being a semi-autobiography), and really makes you wonder: What happened to Yozo? And if it weren't for his father, would things really be different? "

"Maybe I am a bit biased, considering, this is the book that has gotten me into reading, but I just love this book. Percy's point of view really made me realize: Maybe I am not alone struggling to navigate a world that is so incredibly chaotic. Camp Halfblood will always have a place in my heart and will surely serve as a safe haven for many generations of struggling kids to come."
