Sterek/Teen Wolf FanFiction (slash, m/m)

Canon? AU? Pairings other than Sterek? It doesn't matter. Add any missing m/m Teen Wolf fanfics to the list. Also, please add only the first book in a long series to avoid unnecessarily filling the list.

Check out the Freeloaders group. There's a fanfic corner covering Teen Wolf.

Goodreads allows fanfiction that is completed, self-published, and preferably book-length (refer to the manual, or the Goodreads Librarians Group).

Jerry I just have to comment on what is currently the top book. This is basically my review:
2.5 stars.
On the new Sterek list this is number one (5/28/14). Why? I don't know.
This is definitely AU and non-cannon, which shouldn't immediately disqualify it. It's a cute story. But there are no werewolves in it, it's very short, Derek and Stiles are both listless in that neither one has a driving force in their lives. I just don't see why this should be so high on this list.
Some of my issues with various aspects in this story:
The organ sings? Humans can sing. Birds can sing. But an organ needs to be played by someone, it doesn't do anything on its own. It's a series of pipes that have wind blown over their mouths so each pipe will make just one sound. You can't say "the organ will now play.....". You can say, "the organist will now play...."
Oh, and usually, at least weddings in churches I've been to, the organist plays multiple voluntaries prior to the start of a wedding. Kind of like music to calm everyone before the service. So the service usually "starts" with special music for the "seating of the mothers".
When wearing a tuxedo, one does not wear an Oxford cloth shirt, one wears a more refined and closely woven shirt, sometimes with pleats and usually with studs.
Guys are very visual even or maybe especially during sex.
When someone is as hot as Derek, Stiles should be mentioning what he sees! We should have gotten a complete description of what Stiles thinks of Derek's body.
Derek's first account of Stiles' nude body would probably not be how he blushes down his neck and chest. It would be the size of chest/nipples, hair on chest, abs/treasure trail and then dick/balls. But probably in reverse order.
A throat can "flutter" during a blow job? I had no idea!

Agree! I don't get the Top Five votings at all (#1 He Takes His Coffee Black, #2 Crash Landers, #3 Not Like Bond & Moneypenny). Doesn't come close to my favorites...

Day-thief Happy, that so many stories have covers by now! How come?

message 4: by Rebecka (new)

Rebecka I love whoever it is who is adding those covers. The cover-less books make some previously unknown OCD part of me twitch.

message 5: by Day-thief (new)

Day-thief Ha, I know the feeling! Especially, when I find some of the really cool covers on Tumblr. But to contact the designer, ask to add it to GR and so on ... don't really feel like putting that much work into it either.

message 6: by Jyanx (new)

Jyanx Sad how many of these I've read and loved when I have never, and probably will never watch the show.

Oh, why be sad? Frees you a lot of time for reading :D
And I think a lot of people (at least here on GR) don't watch the show. Me, I never made it beyond the fourth episode. And why not? Sterek is an intriguing enough pairing imo.

message 8: by Tailtiu (new)

Tailtiu Silk and Steel is on the list but not a Teen Wolf/Sterek FanFiction.

Removed it. Someone probably confused this list for wolf teenagers/abo fics or sumin.

Direct your lovely fav J2 (wolf or otherwise) fics here: M/M Supernatural And J2 Fanfiction.

Yep I think I watched the first episode, maybe 2. I liked it, I just didn't keep watching, no idea why. But I love the fics. I need to find some fansites though, so I know more faces than Stiles, Derek, and Scott. I have no clue what anyone else looks like!

Google images has been my biggest help with that. I know most people like the younger cast, but I have a thing for the "older" members. The man who plays Chris Argent is lovely.

An excellent way of thinking about it. I've ventured into some other pairings as well. It's been a fun fandom to read.

Kat Seeing all these covers pop up makes me extremely happy for some reason. Mad props to the fangirl/boy who made that happen.:)

Kat PS We've Written Volumes totally deserves to be higher up this list, just sayin.;D

Actually, most of these covers are a) not relevant to the stories they're attached to and/or b) used without the artist's permission. Not cool, guys.

message 16: by Day-thief (new)

Day-thief In order to not open another discussion on the subject at yet another place. If you're interested in finding out more about the clash between fanfic authors and Goodreads users have a look at the groups mentioned above (Freeloaders - Teen Wolf, Sterek Fanfic Freaks or this thread).

Personally, I'm sorry that entries were created without the author's permission, but especially that artwork was used without the artist's approval and author profiles were filled with info from other social media sites. That shouldn't have happened, even if intentions were good (well, I hope they were).

message 17: by Dreamer (new)

Dreamer Hatteress wrote: "Actually, most of these covers are a) not relevant to the stories they're attached to and/or b) used without the artist's permission. Not cool, guys."

If the fanart is linked or shown directly on the author's AO3, does that not imply the artist's permission to post it with the fic on GR?

Apparently, it's bad for in general to add fic links to GR (fic LINKS no actual fic is being uploaded here, people!). Who knew? I understand not wanting art randomly assigned to a story, but if a person created it specifically for a story, I don't know why they'd be upset at the art being associated with the story on another site, but whatevs, that's their business.

I am sad to see that this list has dropped from 337 fics down to 272 fics as of today. Us users have lost lots of reviews and comments, due to people not understanding Goodreads.
