Learning about urban forestry. We've started with a reading list from a Tree Tenders' group in Philadelphia — the “greene Country Towne which will never be burnt, and always be wholesome” (– Wm. Penn). We're also looking at the wider northeastern part of the continent, always interested in urban forestry in other cities around the world, and in taking lessons from research and observations in the woods and forests outside of cities as well. Help us to compile useful and relevant readings.

Kirk My own tally of books is arranged thematically, rather than simply in order of how well I liked each book. As others add their votes, the order changes and more popular books rise toward the top.

Ranking your votes gives a sliding scale of points to each book (100 pts for the first book on your list, 99 for the next, and so on). Change the number in the box to the left of a particular title and it moves to that place in your list of books.
