The Poet X and Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe take place in the United States and don't belong on this list.

I would encourage anyone using this list for the Read Harder Challenge to read a little more closely -- there are several other books that don't belong on this list. For example, Gabriel Garcia Marquez (Colombia) and Isabel Allende (Chile) are not from Mexico/Central America. Other books are set elsewhere (i.e., U.S. or South America).
