I know right? I saw a couple books on the list that were already published!

Yes, but Raeleen said Clockwork Prince.
Chloe wrote: "I'm a little sad that most of these books are paranormal romance. I thought we were over that trend? Also somewhat surprised at the number of series. I can't wait for the final in the "Matched" tri..."November... I answered my own question in another thread. I am not sure if this tops Insurgent on my list, but I am anxious to read it.
Deleted a bunch of them again. Including a whole lot of James Joyce novels, Spinoza books and a King James Bible.Loulou, most books I really look forward to come out in March, all on the same day. It's a whole new problem really, what on earth will I read first?

Wow. That SUCKS! I would hate for them all to come out on the same day! I bet by the time the new school year comes around, no one will ever see me again because i'll have locked myself in my room, reading!
AlbertaJenn wrote: "There are no immediate plans to release the sequel to The Host. So a 2012 date is no-go."I Know!! I'm getting really frustrated!! Who writes a book with such a suspenseful ending, and doesn't even make immediate plans to write the sequel??
The Romance Bookie wrote: "Who writes a book with such a suspenseful ending, and doesn't even make immediate plans to write the sequel??"Someone who has enough money that they never have to work another day in their life? I hope for her fans sake that she continues, it would suck if she just said, "Screw it, I don't have to ever write again."

EXACTLY!!!! :)
It would be nice if books that have already been published, like Fallen, Divergent and City of Bones, were taken off the list. To people who don't know they've already been published, it's confusing. To those who do know, it's annoying.
I removed over 120 entries today. I'm sure there are more, though. I couldn't access page 11 and I'm guessing My Soul to Steal, Pride, The House of the Scorpion, I am Number Four, Hard Times & The Scarlet Letter are hiding there.Brontë, Dickens, Hawthorne.. Seriously? What's wrong with these people?
Rh3a, you're awesome. I lost patience with this list and I'm glad you took the time to fix it.I honestly don't know what's wrong with these people who add really, really old books to the list. I am perplexed at their thought process.
What makes that extra sad is that those 120 books were added in under 2 weeks, because that's when I last scrutinized the list and got rid of about the same number of books.
Most of the books were added by 3 users: Chazspiers(85!), Sravy and Aiza. People just have no idea how much work it takes to keep the lists clean...

Indeed.
Attempted to combine duplicates just now; it wouldn't let me. I'll try to try again later.
I've been trying to deal with the duplicates for a couple of weeks. Seems like there's some kind of glitch.
Jason wrote: "You know what's sad is the majority of this list is just chick lit."You know what's sad is you think the majority of us care about your opinion on the types of books we enjoy. You don't like them? Good for you. No one's telling you to read them.
I voted for and am excited for The Winds of Winter, but I'd be struck stone dead with surprise if it's published this year!
Kim wrote: "Do most of these books even have a plot?"No, no plot. No pages either. Just a front cover and a back cover - pretty artwork to look at.
Someone tell me, please - are the Sookie Stackhouse books better than True Blood? Because that show became really bad, really fast.
Matt wrote: "Someone tell me, please - are the Sookie Stackhouse books better than True Blood? Because that show became really bad, really fast."Yes, the books are a lot better.
The Holy Terror wrote: "Eileen wrote: "Wow. I only got as far as page two but if this is what people are reading (enough that it constitutes a whole list) we are in trouble. Am I the only one that finds this sad?"I thin..."
I agree, but at least they are reading!

LOL
::eyeroll::
You guys who are bitching about this list know you can add all the books you want to, right? Nobody is stopping you from adding your "literary fiction" or "books that guys like" or "books that aren't garbage." (As long as they come out this year, of course.)
Or, you know, you could just keep posting judgmental comments to make yourself feel better than the people who enjoy the books on this list.

The author's website says March 2013, actually.
I don't see an edit button and Clockwork Princess comes out in 2013 now. It shouldn't be on this list.
