The Kitchen God's wife seems to be listed twice.

Black dagger brotherhood
Morganville Vampires
Chicagoland vampires
Riley Jenson series

Alot of people are discussing, the Twilight Series. I agree full-heartedly with Bella's critics, that she is a useless character and the story itself is over-written. But the books are very entertaining. The first one was the best, even though Eclipse is my favorite.
But, I utterly despise Breaking Dawn. That is book is a crime against all the trees that have used to print and continues to print. I started it over a year ago, and I'm just now getting close to finishing it. That how awful it is, and it usually takes me up to a week or a few day over to read a book.
Other books, I absolutely adore are the Percy Jackson and Vampire Academy books. But, my all-time favorite book is My Sister's Keeper.

So is the Hunger Games, Maximum Ride, and
Gone series (by michael Grant) :)

Totally!!!
Totally!!!

As with the Harry Potter books, they got a whole new generation reading again. If we all liked the same, life would be boring. There is books that my friends have recommended to be & i have found boring & not finished, one is Shiver, i still not finished it.

For me, its how they meet, how they know they are attracted to each other. How they fight the attraction. Its hard to explain, its like trying to explain why you find someone good looking or beautiful,it makes me feel good, there's excitement, joy, horror, suspense. How Bella isn't the hottest girl in school, she is slightly dowdy. That she is different, doesn't want to be noticed, trying to fit in. Bella has it tough, her dad's the chief of police in a small town, for most boys she's off limits.
Let me tell you something first.
I was one of those people who didn't get Twilight, my daughter had the film on DVD, so i watched it with her one day, this is before i read the books, i was like, oh okay, yeah &.... I didn't get all the hype, all the fan girls, the queuing up. Then a friend sent me Vampire academy book, i read it & it kicked started my obsession with reading. Going to my local book stall in the market, i bought a book & he didn't have any change, (i buy most of my books from him & he does this a lot, its kinda our little joke) so he said, "buy this you can have it for a £1" he was thrusting Twilight at me & i'm shaking my head. "what you got to loose, you don't like it, i'll buy it back" I took it home & read it within a week. It then hit me, i got it, got what they was all on about, team Jacob, Team Edward. How they both want the same girl. For me its escapism. Takes me to a fantasy world.
Recently i've done my GCSE in English & sat during one lesson, explaining why New Moon is a different take on Romeo & Juliet, the whole class ended up listening to my reasons & some agreed.
Some people just hate Twilight, its how it is.I suppose it all comes down to personal tastes. No matter what it is, a book, a song, some will love it, some will hate it.

The Mortal Instruments And The Infernal Devises. You will servive it but you will be dead. And Dips The Herondales Thats Will And Jace. If you by any change take my boys i will cut you.

I have created a new group called Goodreads All Sorts and I'd love for people to join it or just even just give it a look. It's a group that discusses anything and everything. There will be monthly group reads, movies, and music. There is a folder for everything you could think of. I'd really like if people could spread the word because I'd love for the group to be a success. Here is the link to the group:

Thanks very much,
Jack :-)

Im sorry to say but I put it down on the first few pages. I didn't know why but it just didn't intrest me :l

And so I found Hunger Games and I was in reading heaven. but the sad thing is that when you read to know whats going to happen you finish the book so fast and then you are where you started.
I then a little girl Tris Prior from Abnegation fell onto my lab and my oh my I fell in love with this series. divergent I finished in a weekend and Insurgent I am trying my best not to finish it to quickly. Just sad it is not as high up on the list.
But I am loving this list

No matter what book genre i read, i am always, and will always be, drawn to vampire books. That said i will read books in other genre's.

I don't hate the Twilight Saga, i love it

i sooooo disagree. ihated it. when my parents wern't looking when we had a bon fire, i threw it in there."
I know a good number of people wh..."
In my opinion it takes a particular type of a person to like Twilight. I'm not that type apparently. Though I must say it is some kind of achievement to make me intensely dislike the main girl with just a few pages. Like when Bella describes herself - she tries to appear modest but still ends up seeming vain. Like saying she has 'ugly' or 'average' or 'boring' brown hair, yet it is also silky and long and...etc. Hopefully you get what I mean? I know it is the weak point of writing in first person since you have to try very hard so your character won't seem vain or otherwise unlikable. Another thing that annoyed me to no end was the overflowing description of how divinely looking Edward was. At the end of the book I was almost ready to cut my throat if I saw one more mentioning of a 'body that looked like a statue of a Greek god'...

I was sure unable to put it down. I had to keep reading and stayed up half the night. Then I had to have the next one. So we had to make a trip to Barnes and Noble!

Poor sociopath being forced by the government to kill so many others! Very very sick!

Ugh! Have you reported it in the Feedback Group?
