How can u say the writer is that bad when u fell in love with the story SHE came up with???

I think it's completely true that Stephanie Meyer is a bad writer. The plot is good, but the level of writing is extremely low. It's the level of a child in my opinon.

seriously. every other exerpt of writing i post is about "no twilight".
not to be bossy, or anything, but seriously. Keep ur twilight 2 yourself."
keep ur Twilight to ur self ? haha thats funny
- no offense or anything... :)

there are some twilight freaks around haha

I agree, I read all the Twilight series, and I did like it. But I have read or tried to read atleast three quarters of that list up there, and those are some marvelous books. I think that the well-advertised books shouldn't be at the top beacause those more independent books down a little lower are just as amazing, if not better.

I have to say I'm disappointed that the hobbit made it ..."
I don't particularly dislike Stephenie Meyer as much as some of the people who have commented. I thought the books were good, but now I'm done with them, and it is finished. I am back on track. I think 'the Hobbit' is actually up there for the some of the same reasons that the Twilight series is. It is well-read, advertised frequently, on summer reading lists like this one, as classic fiction, and such. 'The Hobbit' is drawn out and classic, but then again, isn't Shakespeare and Hemingway and Dickens as well?

JK Rowling
Esme Raji Codell
Margaret Peterson Haddix
i can't think of the other two."
Tamora Perice and Patricia Briggs

oh and there has to be six because Johnny Gruelle who wrote the Ragedy Ann stories is simply AMAZING!

Well in my class there is soo many kids that read twilight I am a little young and I read almost all the vampire books and the fantasy books! and I enjoy them!

I love twilight!

also, I think that Rick Riordan is the all-time best male author."
i have no idea why it posted three times...

and Taylor Lautner is hotter (robert Patterson looks like a hobo when they don't primp him up with make-up and wash his hair and all that) so i completely understand ur pain.. :) hehe I don't understand how people actually think her cute! i mean i understand in the movie because they gave him fake muscles and lots of make-up and they gave him this totally new look, but in real life hes sooooo ugly! i mean ew!

i agree!! kissed by an angel is the best book i ever read. it was amazing!!!

I have a plan. I have all of the Harry Potter books, and the movies that are out, too! I plan to get the last three dvds of the harry potter series, (as deathly hallows is going to be 2 segments) and to hav a marathon! i will read the first book, watch the first movie, and so on!
I have the same plan for the twilight saga... I have the first movie, and the last two books, and i plan to get the first two books (which i have already read, but have not BOUGHT)and the last three movies!
Both authors and series rock, and i love them both equally!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i have read both, and think that they are both amazing, and you should think before you comment, because there are many people who like Stephanie Meyer's books, and they are insulted.

Stephanie Meyer and Da Vinci Code

its about a girl and her boyfriend died in a car accident and he ends up being her guardian angel. it was really good despite the really bad cover. there are 3 books in the series

oh cool

Wait... Artemis as in Artemis Fowl or is that ur real name?

This is one of the most entertaining books I have read. A detective novel with plenty of humour and jargon particular to the maritimes. Like the cover says - this is not your average detective novel. Shephard has found his niche. I can't wait for the next in this series.

I know of A LOT of guys who have read the books and all of them loved the series. And by the way, these are college guys.
