River Marked? Never. That you can read them when you are younger is unquestioned. I read Jane Eyre at 10. But they do not belong in the YA corner.
I haven't read any Briggs, but I think Wise Man's Fear is definitely a crossover book.
Ok. I haven't read that. The German translation of the first volume has been published by an adult fantasy publisher. Sorry. But as Briggs is concerned, I am really sure.
Well, I don't think it's so much how it's marketed as what the audience is. The first volume is about a young man going on a hero's journey and having adventures, and I think it's perfect for a teenager who wants something a little more "literary" than contemporary YA.
ahhh, all the books I'm really looking forward to, don't come out for sooooooo long=(
