But it is in here with the dark material as a collection of books

Haha, same here!

This is a popularity contest that has been dominated by Twilight readers. Just a look at pretty much any other top 100 list on the internet shows you a more accurate overall portrayal.
I'm not saying it flat out shouldn't be on the list, just at #1 #2 #3 and #4 it's taking the biscuit a bit.

Hey. Buddy. Since when does Moby Dick, War and Peace, Crime and Punishment, Anna Karena, The Brothers Karamazov, Remembrance of Things Past, etc. etc. get stepped up by the books of Mormon. Even though this is a list of "books", I believe that it should only be restricted to "literature", or at least "quality literature".

I mean. How many morons congregated to vote Twilight into the top 100? really?

People need to branch out a little more, sheesh. I am disappointed with this list.

The only thing this list is truly good for is marketing. Book sellers rejoice!

I would not agree that the "Twilight Saga" are the best books ever written. I was entertained by them but I would put many others before them. My sisters and I refer to them as fluff reading. And fluff is good after one fights ones way through something with more literary merit.

Fair enough. It just surprised me. ^^

I don't care if people love it, adore it or even worship it for that matter, but for goodness sakes I don't understand how this hype has gone on for so long and I just long for the time it will end and good books will receive the highest ratings.

The Twilight series as the top books ever? It doesn't matter if you're a Twifan or not, but there is no possible way people can agree that those are the best books ever written. Things like Romeo and Juliet, Anne of Green Gables, Count of Monte Cristo are rated LOWER than those books?
Honestly, I'm sort of dissapointed right now.

It is truly, many people seem annpyed by it, which I don't get. Many just have not read the books and simply judge the books. And they just see the movies, but the books are way better.

"best book ever"
COME ON LIKE SHAKESPEARE, WILLIAM GOLDING, HARPER LEE, AND J.K.ROWLING ARE ON THAT LIST
STEPHANIE IS JUST SOME MIDDLE AGE WOMAN WITH LOTS OF UNNECESSARY ADJECTIVES.
