How do you get inspired to write?

Casual conversations lead to more plot bunnies than you would ever believe. I get plot bunnies from doing yard work (really need to write that sexy gardener romance soon...). Ideas come from song lyrics, characters in movies, passing thoughts, snippets of overheard conversations. Inspiration isn't really what drives me to write, though. It's nice to be "inspired" because it's kind of a fun, magical feeling, but I write whether I'm inspired or not.(less)

New Contracts!

Hey everyone! Exciting news! I have two new signed contracts: one for a paranormal short story with JMS Books, due to come out in October ("The Haunting of Killian McKay"), and another for a novel with NineStar Press, coming out sometime next year ("Through the Tears").
