Laura Jane Lee is a poet from Hong Kong, currently based in Singapore. Under her former name, she founded KongPoWriMo, Subtle Asian Poetry Collective, and is the winner of the Sir Roger Newdigate Prize. Her work has been awarded in various international competitions such as the Oxford Brookes International Poetry Competition, Out-Spoken Poetry Prize and the Poetry London Mentorship Scheme. She has been published in journals and newspapers such as ORB, HKFP, HK01, QLRS and The Mekong Review. Her pamphlets include “chengyu: chinoiserie” (Hedgehog Poetry Press, 2020) published under her former name, and “flinch & air” (Out-Spoken Press, 2021).
