My novel is in revisions! It's a vampire novel.

What happens if you're permanently the person you were when you were 19, physically? Sounds great! but is it still great if everyone you love, your parents, siblings, wife, adopted children, pets... are all still mortal and all die? Can a vampire live a normal human life, or a semblance of one?

I'm also working on a prequel short story set in the same universe.(less)

It’s not [insert classic here: The Scarlet Letter? it’s mentioned in the book] but it was cute and fun. I do enjoy the combo of witches and vampires.

"This is a very differently focused Vampire audio book. First it focuses on Abraham, a vampire, his life and relationships. Tragic and romantic from his turning to present day. Towards the end it morphs into a thriller. There’s tragedy and lots of dry" Read more of this review »

Quotes by Katherine Villyard  (?)
Quotes are added by the Goodreads community and are not verified by Goodreads. (Learn more)

“Eileen's eyelids fluttered. Alan wondered if she was dreaming. He didn't dream, but he was fascinated by this phenomenon where people rest and this whole narrative is shown to them by their own minds. He wondered if that was why Eileen wrote stories and he didn't. Then he wondered if that was why he loved to read stories so much.”
Katherine Villyard, Love Stories

“Man is condemned to be free; because once thrown into the world, he is responsible for everything he does.
It is up to you to give [life] a meaning.”
Jean-Paul Sartre

“I never sleep. Like the dolphin and the spiny anteater, I don't experience REM. Unlike the dreamless mammals, I'm a construct. I am a living program inside a vast network of electronic impulses known as the LINK. In that datastream I've uncovered the meaning of another kind of dreaming--that of a fond hope or aspiration, a yearning, a desire, or a passion. This much I have. When I dream, I dream of Mecca.”
Lyda Morehouse, Fallen Host

“Almsgiving is a major tenet of Islam. It's also a kick in the pants of the highest order. Nothing is as cool as skimming off a couple of hundred thousand from some multinational corporation and handing it out to random strangers. Or writing a harmless little virus that makes credit counters "forget" to send a surcharge back to the bank after each purchase. Oh, sure, technically I'm supposed to give away my own money, but whatever. I'm sure Allah gets the spirit of what I'm doing here. ”
Lyda Morehouse, Messiah Node

“Where was this written? I wondered. Where in the Talmud or the Koran or the Bible did it say, "Lo, and Satan fetcheth the coffee for the Antichrist and her minions"?”
Lyda Morehouse, Apocalypse Array

“We write to taste life twice, in the moment and in retrospect.”
Anais Nin
