"Jimmy Alo was a Five Star General in the Mafia. Hardly anyone knows who he is now, but I can tell you, he was one of the biggest names in the game. I worked directly for him and Meyer Lansky running Casinos, and Gambling operations all over the world, including in Yugoslavia. We provided whatever the high ranking party officials couldn't on their own. This was of course before working for Benny Binion in Vegas, and marrying his daughter, Becky.

Over the years, I've read a lot of things written on the Mob and everybody gets it wrong on how they operated. Most of what you know about them is from movies, and most of it is bullshit. I spent many years with my good friend, Filmmaker and Screenwriter Sam Peckinpah, who's work I loved. Justin writes with the same genuine qualities. Nobody that I've seen can write about these shit heels like him. The characters, the history, and the politics. Nobody.

When I read the Script Justin wrote for the TV show he created with Diana, Payola, I thought it was the best thing I've read on the subject. I'm hoping before too long he can write my life story."

- Nicky passed away after a bout with Cancer on July 22, 2023, just two weeks before I was to begin filming his life story.

"I knew both Jimmy Alo and Meyer Lansky since 1968, and spent an untold amount of time with them. In fact, after going on tour in a band that was part of the early Rock and Roll era, I opened a barbershop on 71st in Miami Beach called the "Hair Designers", that became a hangout for Italian and Jewish gangsters from all around the area. I knew all the Mob bosses...Sam Giancana, Vincent the Chin... Everyone.

Justin has the backing from many many people from this world on the historical setting and accuracy of this story. He wove in the right amount of fiction to create the best narrative possible, without making the wrong people angry. He accomplished this task incredibly well. Bravo and well done."
