If that doesn't work, then I move on to the next project. If inspiration isn't striking, focusing on that project is just wasted time and more stress than it's worth. Usually working on another project leads to fresh ideas as soon as I return my attention to the previous project(less)

I would say my focus on two specific ones because they contain genres which are currently trending for publishers. One is a YA Fantasy novel. It has a teen protagonist, lots of magic, lots of mystery, and some romance.

The other is a fantasy adventure that has a focus on greek mythology. That one I'm a little more optimistic about because it contains LGBTQ themes which is on most of the agents wishlists, and I know stories that involve the greek gods are very popular. I'm really hoping to get both done within the next year(less)
