Hi, I’m James Heat. I'm a writer, a Dad, and daydreamer who finally started turning all the stories in my head into books.

My first sci-fi novel, The New Dawn of Aegis, is out soon, and I’ve got more on the way across all sorts of genres. So far, I’ve published three children’s books: What If All Animals Were Like Us, What If All Pigs Were Pirates, and my most recent, The Cat Who Lost His Nerve — a story I wrote and dedicated to my friend and illustrator as he bravely battles cancer. That book means a great deal to me, and all proceeds go to support him.

Right now, I’ve got at least seven more books nearly ready to go, and I’m always working on the next idea (usually at strange hours with a pot of coffee on hand).
