After finding out the marriage plans the Bayar's had installed for her Raisa decides to runaway with her friend Amon Byrne to Oden's Ford. Raisa/Rebecca decides to use her time wisely and take her studies seriously. She also picks up a student in Han Alister. Han is studying up with a blue blood who calls himself Crow and hides who he is. Crow is also after the Bayars and he wants them all dead. Han has to balance a developing thing with Rebecca while learning to act like a blue blood. Rebecca goes thru mood swings. Dancer finds a lady in Cat.
