What Members Thought

I enjoyed this urban fantasy with young teens. The side characters aren't very developed, but for such a short story that was fine for me. I was more interested in D, the main character, and the unique storyline and setting.
This was magical realism that pulled in some history. I enjoyed stepping into the adventure with D and his friends. I appreciated the shorter length. I know some students are intimidated by lengthy fantasy books and this one moves quickly and can be read quickly. ...more
