Another YA fantasy with a young woman of come on the cover. I think I should start a new bookshelf.

Red Madrassa has a cast that impresses. It’s the very essence of diversity and anyone who knows me knows that’s enough pull me in! And I’m not just talking about ethnicity, the LGBT inclusion is not seen enough in fiction these days, and the author does it well. This book was a quick read for me, I literally started it last night.
The only downside is that there wasn’t really enough time to get to know each character well, because there were so many. That's too bad because these charact ...more
