My second dark YA romance of the day. I really disliked reading Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet in high school (it inspired me to read more Shakespeare, I thought that his plays had to be better if we still had to read them). Romeo worked really well as the tragic villain. Will be very interesting to see where Jay takes the next book.

However, I liked that the idea was taken from the original story and a personal twist was added onto it.

Juliet is murdered by her true love Romeo and at the last minute she is saved b
