Having read the first book and absolutely LOVED IT, I was super eager to read this one (the second in the series).
Well I can say with absolute certainty that as a continuation of the first book, this one does not falter. The secrets become more shocking and Clary's whole journey is magnified to extremely intense levels.

Valentine's still collecting Mortal Instruments. Clary and Simon got a thing going. Jace is super broody. Alec and Magnus are together. Alec and Isabelle's parents still don't know Alec's secret and they turn out Jace. This event starts a whole mess. While mostly enjoyable, I found that last section dragged on and on.....I'll still read the third just to find out what happens and if my suspicions are confirmed....
