[close] This novel was a surprise from beginning to end. The story-line far exceeded the expectations of what I THOUGHT the story-line would be, the writing was excellent, and the characters were geekily-awesome. It was an adventure for book lovers about the adventure of a book, so to speak.
When Clay takes a part-time job at a bookstore, he thinks he's just gotten lucky finding a job where he gets paid to sit there and work on his own thing all night long. But his mysterious boss, Mr. Penumbra, is clearly involved in something...and Clay, along with his friends, will not stop until they figure it out.
