انتهيت من يومين من قراءة الكتاب..
لا أدري ما هي الكلمات المناسبة لوصفه, لكنه بالتأكيد كان مختلفاً عن الكثير مما قرأت

أذكر المرة الأولى التي رأيت فيها الكتاب, كان العنوان مألوفاً لا أري لماذا على
الرغم من أنني لم أسمع به من قبل

كان الكتاب بشكل أو بآخر قراءة في حياة شخص "بائس" في أقل ما قد يوصف به, و مثلما يذكر الغلاف فهي قراءة في حياة أوسكار واو القصيرة و المدهشه !

لغة الكتاب كانت مزيجاً من الإنجليزية و القليل من الإسبانية, الأمر الذي راق لي صراحة, لم أظن أنني أميّز معظمها, الجدير بالذكر أن اللغة في

Oscar is the most tragic, but lovable hero. He embraces everything nerdy, has an endearing want to simply experience love, but the misfortune of being obese and carrying a supposed family curse leads to his lifelong struggle. The story has actually less to do with Oscar and more to do with this curse and how it has affected each of his family members. Despite a couple some very harsh reviews on Goodreads, I have to say I really enjoyed this book. It was rough, raw, but funny in parts. I just liked that it was a completely different book than I typically read. As far as the complaints of others about the Spanish language references. I guess I had (an extremely)slight advantage at understanding some of the phrasse. I believe that the majority could be grasped based on the context. If not, grab a dictionary.
