This book was a delightful read. Ethan has a heart of gold, and a dirty mouth (dirty, good). Lizzie is hysterical. Her inner dialogue was hilarious. Their banter back and forth was realistic and amusing to read. Kai was a sweetheart. Her situation was heartbreaking, but added to the storyline perfectly. Their imperfect, perfect, family was one anybody would love to be a part of.

I've read this three times so far and I've got to say this is my favorite in the Cocky Hero series!
I love how Elizabeth not only remembers her past but tries to share the hope and magic with others!
And don't get me started on Dr. Ethan James Stewart!

Oh my heavens we have landed in Scotsman heaven with Ethan and his stoic, growling, dominant ways. Get ready to swoon, laugh and just be thoroughly entertained . I absolutely laughed at loud at the wonderfully funny and sarcastic banter between him and Elizabeth. I think that our Scotsman may have met his match in wits with the lovely and honest Elizabeth. This story will give you a bit of it all...loved it !

Omg I absolutely love this book. I’m a huge Outlander fan and this book was absolutely perfect. Ethan is a sexy Scot that will definitely give you all the feels. At first he could be an ass but, he will definitely grow on you. Ethan & Lizzie are absolutely perfect together. Kai is so adorable and how Ethan is will Kai will make you swoon. Another 5 star read by MJ that I couldn’t put down.

Lizzie is a klutz. Ethan is a pigheaded man. The have an amazing chemistry. They make for an interesting complicated couple. Could not wait to see where they were headed. Amazing fun read. The banter between Lizzie and Ethan was explosive.

Loved this book!!! It was a laugh-out-loud read!

Ethan James Stewart is a hot Scottish, bone doctor. He also knows what he wants and tends to go after it. Not only is he hot but is also grumpy/harsh to many of those around him. However, all of this adds to the charm that is Ethan.

Elizabeth is a quirky character. I don't mean this is a bad way either. She just has this way about her that makes you love her. She is clumsy, and completely out spoken and doesn't tend to put up with bad manners. She ...more

On the whole Scandalous Scotsman was an enjoyable read. Lizzie was a great character. She was fun, likeable and I really connected to her vulnerable side. She was offset by the uber Alpha, Doctor Ethan. They were a great couple and definitely had chemistry but I wished we had seen a softer side to Ethan a bit earlier on in the story. I liked the story but my enjoyment was hindered by the Scottish brogue used throughout as I just struggled to read it at times and it took a while to get used to. T ...more

Oh, that accent!

Let me start by saying I'm very appreciative of the fact that the Scottsman was written with an accent. I love it - the phrases, terms, mannerism. He was a perfect father and lover. Another great read by MJ Fields. I absolutely adore her characters that have me laughing out loud at the antics, bad luck, banter and then having amazing chemistry between Ethan and Lizzie. Plus she always throws in some great steamy scenes!
