This book was really good, so much better than I expected. I was setting myself up for disappointment when I read it, because Stephanie Meyer is not the best author and I wasn't sure I would like it if it wasn't Twilight. But I was wrong! It was written a lot better than Twilight, which makes you wonder if she dumbed her writing down when she wrote that series, because it was YA. I freaking love this book! I love Ian and Wanda and everyone and Jeb!! I really love this book! Its so great!! I know its technechly about aliens. . . . but it really isnt. Its more about being human, and what its like. Stephenie is such a great author, I love her!!! This is a great book!

It took me a long time to get into this book, but I absolutely loved it!! I hope that Stephenie will follow this up with something else. You get so wrapped up in here characters that you just want to know more about their lives--beginning to end!

I absolutely hate this book. I think Stephanie Meyer is way more talented than this book shows. The plot is so confusing and the setting is not justified anywhere throughout the whole damn book.
