the plot in this book was that edward become even more protective of bella becuase alice see's that there a vistor's that might and could hurt bella. bella and jacob had up's and down and jacob finally tells bella how he fells about her.Jacob and Edward get into a even more arguement, but finally they came together only to save bella again.
