It was interesting to see a different perspective and I actually enjoyed this. I was sad for Bree because she was a likeable character- I actually wish that she had a different outcome in Eclipse because she could have had an interesting "spin-off". oh well. For what it was this book was good. I enjoyed the story but it felt like Stephenie wrote something just to write it. Seeing the newborns from a different perspective was interesting but not nearly as captivating as the Twilight Saga. She should focus on Midnight Sun which would lead to further development of Edward and the Cullen family and would give her happy fans.

I'll start off by saying I'm a HUGE Twilight Saga fan so I was really looking to this book but I was a little disappointed. I did like the fact that you got to see a little more insight into what real vampires do to survive on human blood. I also liked knowing that the Volutri knew more about the new borns and what Victoria and Riley were doing trying to wipe out the Cullens. It just didn't grab me like the rest of the Twilight Saga. It's an OK read.

This is a great little companion book to Eclipse, and the whole Twilight series. It's really fascinating to get inside another character's head, especially one of the newborns of Eclipse. The only complaint I have is that Bree has to die in the end! I wish she could have become part of the Cullens Coven. I'd also like to see more of Fred.
