The two greatest compliments I can give the first book in a new mystery series are: I didn't want the book to end and I absolutely cannot wait to read the second book. "Death Overdue" by Allison Brook, deserves both compliments. It is a fantastic read!

#1 Ghost in the Library
I really enjoyed this story. Carrie is a librarian in a CT library and just as she is deciding she wants to leave the area to go somewhere warmer, she meets a former librarian (who died in the parking lot one cold winter night) and she is offered a job promotion within the library.
She has to change her style and she learns her new job with the help of the ghost and learns how to protect herself and her programs from the ghost's niece.
