Selena Pigoni
It was good, but I felt like the story dragged on just a little too long. I got tired (and possibly a little bored) about three quarters of the way through and had to put it down.

This is the story of a girl growing up and discovering her sexuality. It was interesting, especially the number of Korean euphemism.

The story is slow-paced, sometimes dragging on.

I'm absolutely in love with this, and I can't wait to pick up the sequels when I get to work today. The black and white drawings were so gorgeous that I kept turning pages long after I'd intended to go to bed last night, until I ended up just finishing it in one sitting. ...more

No your usual manga.
Charming and touching, a coming of age story. The bound between mother and daughter is the main interest of the book, and very sweet.

[Review of entire trilogy]

I thought long and hard whether this should be a 2- or a 3-star, but in the end the 2 won out. Don't get me wrong, it's a sweet story following Ehwa as she grows up, and the flowing artwork is pretty. If you don't mind soft stories or open-ended ones, then you'll enjoy this a lot more than I did. I, however, prefer stories that actually end, and this one just didn't conclude satisfyingly enough. The characters were often dull, and for a graphic novel there is a lot of t
