I said it before and I say it again: if you want me to like your asshole hero, you need to give me a savage bitch for a heroine, or as my favorite dork in the universe put it; "a person who can give it back as good as they can take it."
In this unfortunate case, Ben is a worthless prick, and Emilia is in a desperate need for a spine and an understanding for the words dignity and self-esteem. And for goodness' sake, if I read one more page of her pathetically lusting after him despite ...more

4,5 Stars
I loved this book A LOT, I loved the banter, the characters, the chemistry, even the unbeliavable plot and loved the fact that for once we didn't have a hero POV. It's better for me not to know all the time what he's thinking and it is SO RARE to find these days !
It was almost a 5 star reads, but something bothered me at the end. Thinking about it, it happened a little too fast for me. What really bothers me is that the main characters never had a real long convo, about anything. Hosti ...more

One of my yearly faves!

What a relief to find this book. I haven’t been glued to a book and finished it within 24 hrs in a long time. This book reminded me a little of Sally Thorne’s The Hating Game; similar writing style, enemies to lovers, fun dialogue and even a scene where the heroine looks after a sick hero. But where THG is light hearted, this is more serious and intense. Don’t get me wrong it’s funny af with smart dialogue and witty banter and there are a few scenes that are just too far fetched, but it also int

However, in order for the will to be finalized both Em and Ben will have to live together and refurbish the home. Which is easier said than done since Ben, with his looks that could kill, i ...more

This one was hard for me to rate, because I really liked some parts, but some parts felt rushed or left out. There was so much potential with this book, with good writing and even the implausible set-up didn't deter me from diving headlong into this, since I like a good enemies to lovers. The progression of their relationship felt rushed at the end and (view spoiler)
