Story about daily life during the German occupation of France in WWII. The aithor herself was killed in a concentration camp and did not finish three of the five stories she meant to write, nor did she get to fine tune the story. I like this sort of writing and plot. It did get slow at times, but the context in which the boo kwas written helped me push through.
