A re-read - the Teen Book Group at my store is doing a "book you should have read in HS" pick this month (I'd read every book on the shortlist so I was just game to re-read what got picked). This does not feel as revolutionary to me now as an adult, this story about some aimless chump who kills a man (the nameless Arab) during an attack of sunstroke and gets tried for failing to cry at his mother's funeral.
