I really enjoyed this lil novel... I found it to be a very strange story... but at the same time very easy to follow and to read... I read it in a few hours, if you have a few hours to spare take a gander, I don't think you'll be disappointed... I liked the way Camus was very descriptive of places, but not of people... So this is supposed to be a classic absurdist existentialist novel. It was nothing like I expected; I expected a dense difficult novel and it was nothing like that. The story of an unemotional, self-absorbed young man.
Apparently I read this in 2013 but when I re-read it for my book club I had remembered nothing about it. I can understand why this book is famous though. Talk about nihilism. Woowee.
