This was a really enjoyable book that really centers around the meaning of love and family. Howards End itself seems to always be in the background and yet the story comes full circle with the house as a representation of familial love.

Nice book about the country home and people connected to it in times before World War I. It shows new - at that times - trends in society, philosophy, economy.
