Here's what I knew about A Tale of Two Cities before I read it:
-It starts with "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times."
-Charles Dickens wrote it
-The two cities are Paris and London
-It involves something about the French Revolution

Great book, but I've not found a Charles Dickens book that I haven't liked so far.
Love to read these books because they give you a better idea of what it was like to live during these times. Yes I know Dickens wasn't in France in 1775 but he probably knew people who were.
Also con tains two lines which are quoted so often, I knew the first,"It was the best of times, it was the worst of times". The ending however blew me away, I can't imagine having to wait for each installment as the Victorians h ...more
