recently read it again, and wow does this country need a big dose of charles dickens. can't it be a requirement of all the born-here-and-can-read-and-especially-if-they-vote-or-have-a-sense-of-entitlement in order to receive the benefits of citizenship?

I liked it fine. However, it didn't pull me along and I kept feeling like I forgot what it was about. I found I would have to re-read pages to remember what was going on - even if I had just set it down for a minute.

Anoter school read. Somehow just knowing it was a school read takes all it's appeal. I enjoyed it even though I didn't understand it to the fullest capacity. I hope to read this book again in the future.
