I was quite surprised by how much I enjoyed this book. I think this is one of those books I'd always been a little scared of, because it's a "Classic" and such a hard-hitting topic. I thought it would be difficult to read, with old language, stuffy language, and a preachy tone. However, it turned out to be the opposite. Stowe's work is a beautiful piece of story-telling, and it was so easy to get into the story, I often found myself reading 100+ pages in a sitting, and not realizing it.
