Ok, heres the thing. If this book was real, and the main characters Belano and Lima were real, I may not be cool enough to hang out with them. So for me, reading this novel was so much fun, like hanging out with the in crowd, the rebels I never was and certainly am guaranteeing I won't be by sticking my nose in this long novel. Dnf. Would probably have dropped it even without the gratuitous r*pe scene. I hear there are other narrators after the 17 year old misogynistic and homophobic aspiring poet I'm supposed to take a shine to. Sorry guys. (Not sorry.)
