What Members Thought
This book was really heavy or was it light? errr... I mean it was really deep or do I mean shallow? Clearly Kundera has me all mixed up. The section on interpretations/ meanings of words makes this all the more clear. This book touches on politics, infidelity and religion all in one. During this recent election season, I have heard enough about these topics and how they intertwine to be sufficiently sick of it. Kundera does not do much to eliminate this feeling. Milan Kundera is one of the writers I like to read, when I want to read about absurd and I need Czech sense of humour. Great.

I gave this one fifty pages and couldn't get into it. Too many books out there waiting to be loved to spend my time reading ones that don't captivate me.
