Ive seen a lot of really bad reviews for this book. I was recommended this book by my friends. Since i usually don't like books because theyr'e popular, by the time they convinced me to read it everyone was talking all about it.
YES I AM A TEENAGE FANGIRL But NO i do not like these books just because of the sexy descriptions of Edward!
i will adress some points people bring up about twilight:
1) Bella is a shallow, Mary Jane who has NO backbon UNDER CONSTRUCTION!! INCOMPLETE!!! DO NOT READ- YET!!

i will adress some points people bring up about twilight:
1) Bella is a shallow, Mary Jane who has NO backbone at all and depends on her boyfriend.
- Bella is a CHARACTER. She is not you or me. Characters have characteristics that are ALL THEIR OWN. Yeah, i know you say thats not an excuse. ill think of something better later.
2) The Vampires in twilight are not how vampires are supposed to be!! They're too much like humans.
- Who said that all vampires have to be the same? Its Stephanie Meyer's story, she can do whatever she wants with it. If you don't like it, that's okay, but its not a very good point too argue. That's an element Stephanie Meyer added to her story. HER STORY!! Also, the Cullens aren't the only vampires in twilight! They're supposed to be an exception to the other vampires in the book - the ones that portray your typical image. Is the volturi bad enough for you?? the newborns?? most people who come up with points about this series only read the first book, which is THE FIRST BOOK. it.. introduces you to a series. If you don't know what im talking about, then you have false opinions about the first book alone.
3) This book is all descriptions about edward.. and edward.. and edward.. its annoying!!
-ill have to admit, the first book is mainly about adward. It IS a romance book after all. If you also complain that theres no plot, there is. These books are a part of a series.If the first one is mainly romance, if you say there is no plot THAT IS THE PLOT. Trust me, the rest of them are filled with both. Truly, twilight is not my favorite book in the series. That would be new moon or eclipse. Theyr'e both filled with romance, drama, action, mystery... i love these books!

that propably didnt convince anyone... it was sorta rude and not very convincing. im more convincing in person!!!
ill make it better when i have more time.

Having long brown hair and dark brown eyes, Bella is an exceptionally beautiful young woman. She has dry sense of humor like her father, but she has a very caring personality. Being exceptionally caring, she often puts other people’s problems before hers. Being very intelligent, Bella always receives A’s in school and studies constantly. She is a junior in high school. Since she has moved to Forks, she met a very handsome, pale, delicate skinned, dark eyed, boy named Edward Cullen. She has a major crush on him.

Text to Self: In the novel “Twilight” by Stephenie Meyer, Isabella and I have similar personality traits. Bella and I can be “socially awkward” at times. Socially awkwardness is the art of not knowing the right words to say and make conversation with people, resulting in a long awkward silence. I try not to be awkward, but I can find it hard to talk to some people, especially when meeting new people. I will end up talking about the weather or try to avoid the person altogether. When Bella moved to Forks, it was hard for her to meet new friends. Students in her classes would introduce themselves to her and she would find it hard to make reasonable conversations with them. That is how Bella and I have similar personality traits.

Text to Text: “Twilight” can relate to most romantic novels. In most romantic novels, there are two characters that fall in love with each other. In this case, Bella and Edward fall in love. The book discusses their compassion and love they feel toward each other. The book can also fall into the science fiction category because Edward Cullen is a vampire. Unlike scary vampire stories, “Twilight” is a vampire love story with a few twists.

Text to World: In “Twilight”, Bella’s parents are divorced. Divorce rates are very high in the world. The majority of divorced couples have children. The parents have to decide on which parent gets custody of the child. In some cases, the court has to make that decision. This can be very hard on the child. Most children have visitation rights to see their other parent. In Bella’s case, she lived with her mother in Phoenix, AZ until she decided to move to her father’s house for a little while. Her parents live very far apart, making it hard for her to visit her father in Forks, WA. That is one example of how the story “Twilight” relates to the world.

I read this book and it was good. It took me forever just to pick the book up and read it. Last year i started it and i only read the first chapter. So i stopped readinng it. Then this year every was shocked at the fact that i had never read twilight so i decided to give the book another chance. Turns out you ahve to get throught he first few chapter to actaully get into the book. But as i read this book i found myself asking more and more questions like waht will happen next.
