One thing I liked about the story is that the protagonist is male, but spends the book looking for his soul mate. Doesn't happen all that often with male authors. ...more

Shelves: post-apocalyptic
Excellent read and not your typical apocalyptic novel. Portions of Soft Apocalypse reminded me of Atwood's Year of the Flood. The story line also hits a little close to home with the current economic situation in the US. ...more
