Entertainment Weekly's best non-fiction book of 2007. Sounds really interesting and also sounds like a good book club choice.

This was an excellent nonfiction book. The topic of the book is, pretty much, asking what the world would be like if humans disappeared tomorrow. The author clearly did his research and quoted many people throughout the book. He really covers a broad area with a fairly short book and covers it well. He talks about what would happen to nuclear plants and bombs, about all the plastic that takes forever to disintegrate, about all the nearly extinct animals and forests, and so much more. I really en

An interesting intellectual exercise, but not enough meat to fill a book. This was better as an article of a couple thousand words. After the six or seventh re-telling of the same premise (we screw up our environment... but we're a blip in history, and our environment recovers without us)... I got tired of hearing it.
