Entertainment Weekly's best non-fiction book of 2007. Sounds really interesting and also sounds like a good book club choice.

Very interesting - I loved the specifics about what will happen to our cities. Look at this as a primer - each chapter could have its own book. Perfect for non-science types like me, since I actually "got it".

Life will go on, with or without us. A heartening thought.

Kinda bummed at this. Was a dry read. More about the past that I would expect in a book that is supposed to be about the future. It was okay I mean, but strange.

This was an amazing book. Scary, but so realistic! Lots of technical information, but very understandable. I never dog-ear books, but I did quite a bit in this one, so I can go back and research what Alan wrote about some more. Seriously loved this!!!
