Shelves: post-apocalypse, sci-fi
Great PAW novel that put the setting right where I like it - immediately after the disaster. I also put this book on my sci-fi shelf because I couldn't help comparing the triffids to the killer plants in Star Trek episode #38: The Apple.

Minus one star due to some unfortunate female stereotyping, but otherwise a classic that shouldn't be missed. ...more
