This book was interesting. The premise is great, chemical spill, cover ups and inhumane treatment of people...between big pharma and the government none of this is THAT far fetched really. Also, stuffing all of the apocalypse into a tiny little area in Iowa?? Interesting.
I wasn't a HUGE fan of the main character. Ellie was a lazy, mentally ill pot head and I had hard time relating to her. I liked Bing better.... :( Hell, I liked basically everyone better...Guy, Rachel, Martha. Literally anyone. ...more

Great read. Has you on the edge of your seat and a story you can't set down. A+.
