Bleak! That is the best way to describe this "speculative fiction" by literary giant, Margaret Atwood. If you are a fan a handmaid tale, you should appreciate this vision of the demise of humanity.

took too long to get to the sights of the ruined world. too much melodrama with the best friend and the beloved girl. bogus!
I'd give it a 3.5 if that was an option.
