What Members Thought
While the writing was a bit different from old school Stephen King, I enjoyed the creative story and character development. I listed to the audiobook and the narrator was top notch. There was a delightful interview with Stephen and Owen King at the end of the book. It was obvious how much Stephen King enjoyed collaborating with his son, which was very sweet and tender to witness.
i really enjoyed this. there's plenty of action, tension, and mystery to keep the story moving and plenty of characters to root for and against and the stakes are HIGH.

Best summed up by the word… meh. Sleeping beauties felt like diet-King as there was a close association with much of what I like form King. However, it was watered down/tempered by sharing writing responsibilities with another author, albeit his son.
I found it hard to engage with the story, not least of all because it had way too many characters who were entirely superfluous.
