Polluted-world dystopia, where processed food is poisonous with additives and a stroll outdoors requires the use of supplied oxygen. Fair premise, but it comes across as a hippie manifesto. There is very little plot movement until the last few chapters of the book; the remainder involves the author crying about how we are polluting Mother Earth and soap-boxing about what could happen if we don't stop.
