Stylistically irritating. And Montag, the main character, is an idiot. The main idea of the book, that the firemen burn books is just plain stupid. But the idea that a person becomes a book is brilliant. I liked Clarisse of course - and the writing around Clarisse. But otherwise I just found this book annoying.

I love the distopic novel so of course I loved this one. A visionary who saw a disturbing future for us Bradbury writes this cautionary tale with wisdom and control.
